Q: Tell me a little about yourself.
A: I am married with two daughters who both live in Charlotte, NC and one grandson in his first year of college in NC. I am retired from Yokohama Tire Company and am very active in my church work which also involves community outreach which led me to do what I am doing at the Y.
Q: What is the best thing that has happened to you since I started working with the Y?
A: After seeing the lack in participation trying to be a mentor, I was encouraged by the youth that are involved at the Y. They are so energetic and forward thinking which really impressed me and encouraged me to want to be a part of the Y Teens Program.
Q: What do I wish others knew about the Y?
A: Most people think of the Y as a place to go exercise. I did not even know about all of the other Y programs until Will shared them with me.
