“Our new partnership with the City of Lexington is very exciting for the Y,” said Bobbie Wolfe, Executive Director of the Rockbridge Area YMCA. “It will allow us to serve our community in yet another way and give us the opportunity to provide programming for pool members and guests,” said Wolfe.

In addition to the pool’s regular hours of operation, the Y will be offering aquacise water aerobic classes and lap swimming on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 – 11:00 am.

“We encourage community members to visit our Facebook page and website frequently to stay up-to-date on programs that we will be offering throughout the summer,” said Wolfe.

Daily fee and summer membership fees will remain the same as last year. Individuals who wish to purchase individual or family season memberships to the pool can visit the Rockbridge Area YMCA located at 790 Lee Hwy. Pool memberships are also available for purchase at the pool via cash or check.

Savanna Patillo, a two year employee of the city’s indoor and outdoor pools has been named pool manager for the season. She has experience in pool management, staffing, instruction swimming and aquatics classes.
